91. OneSimCard General Service Questions
    • Can I browse the Internet and check email, use Whatsup and Facebook from my OneSimCard phone?

Yes, you can browse the Internet, check email and use other data services with OneSimCard. Service is available in over 100 countries. Please check the OneSimCard Rates Page to see if GPRS internet access is available in your country of interest. Note: data is charged in 10kB increments.

By default, all SIM cards are pre-programmed with GPRS data service disabled. To enable GPRS and find the programming instructions for your phone, log in to your OneSimCard account, click the "Enable" link for Mobile Internet and then click on Remote Program. Programming your mobile phone is very simple and can be done remotely by sending the programming instructions from OneSimCard.com to your phone. Not all phones are capable of being programmed remotely, so please review the data programming instructions located in the OneSimCard User Guide and in the Help section of your online account.

Please note: you must have a minimum $5 airtime on your SIM card to use GPRS mobile data service.
92. OneSimCard Rentals
    • What Start Date, End Date and shipping method should I choose when placing my cell phone rental order?

All orders are shipped out based on the rental Start Date that you enter and your shipping method. The Start Date is the latest day that you will need your phone rental before you leave for your trip (usually a day or two before you leave). The End Date is the day your package must be postmarked by to avoid any late return fees. Rentals will ship out with enough time to make sure you receive your order a couple of days prior to your Start Date.

For example, if you place your rental order on August 15 with a Start Date of August 30 and choose Overnight shipping, we will ship your package on August 27 so it arrives on August 28.

99. Rates and Cost Questions
    • How often do I need to recharge my OneSimCard account?

Your OneSimCard global SIM card and European phone number will never expire as long as you make at least one call every 18 months. If you fail to make or receive at least one call every 18 months, your OneSimCard global SIM card and European phone number will expire and you will not be entitled to a refund even if at the time of expiration your account had a positive balance.

However, the funds on the SIM card will expire 10 months from your last recharge and will not be refunded to you. The minimum recharge amount is $25. By simply recharging at least once every 10 months your balance will roll over. If your balance does expire, it will not be refunded to you but all you need to do to get the service working again is to log in and add funds to your SIM card. If you set up the automatic recharge, it will be canceled if you allow the funds to expire, so you will need to set automatic recharge up again once you recharge your balance.
